The uproar about a supposedly ‘rising intolerance’ shows no signs of dying down, mainly because the Hindu targets are not only NOT being shamed into silence they are returning fire and causing serious damage. In this bewildering new world, so unfamiliar to the asura prakriti that is the Indian secularist, they flounder around seeking any argument that will restore control of the debate to them.
They know they are on shaky ground here so a few test balloons are being sent up. The Hindu response has been to persistently point out the double standards and hatred towards Hindus that this so called crisis demonstrates. “Where were you when…?” and “What About…?”, are like acid baths to the secularists for their complete lack of intellectual integrity and disgraceful prejudice against Hindus are exposed. They have no answer, so they seek to pretend none is needed. Even Rajcreep Sarhad desh ki hai , yes I know, a cheap shot – sought to weakly justify the murder of anti cow slaughter activist Poojari as political activism gone wrong and hence not as bad as Dadri. Which is just about the slimiest evasion possible but only people completely without honor and even common decency become Indian secularists to begin with so it surprises nobody at all.
“Rationalism” and crusades against “superstition” are activities targeted against Hindu religious beliefs and practices alone. Nobody gets into a flap over the Missionaries of Charity shutting down their orphanages for they do not wish to follow the government regulations that single parents be allowed to adopt. The reason they gave is appalling and insulting – they fear single parents may groom the kids into becoming gay! One would think at least the gay organizations would protest against this incredible slur, but one would be wrong for most gay outfits are stuffed to the gills with secularists and criticism of anybody other than Hindus is verboten. I don’t particularly mind what the Nuns did, that is their belief, the Government said you cant act so, and they shut down rather than compromise their beliefs. And nobody had a damn thing to say. This is just one sad example of the all pervasive double standard, criticism is for Hindus alone. Well Hindus wont stand for it any more and that is ALL that this so called controversy is about.
One old decrepit scientist of sorts returned his national award protesting “the government’s attack on rationalism, reasoning and science”. What evidence is there that these qualities he so professes to love were ever addressed to the Muslims by his pompous self? He objects to the RSS chief having views on marriage and dress codes. Again any feedback to the Muslims for their particular views on these matters?
This burden of being reasonable and scientific and progressive and tolerant is always that of the Hindu ALONE. Everybody else is allowed to run riot being as backward and reactionary as possible and it will be explained and rationalized and apologized for. Well the Hindu is refusing to carry this burden of tolerance and accommodation any longer as a perpetual one way street. Others have to join in, and carry their full share of the weight too. This template was set in place by none other than Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi which is why it has such enduring strength. All the responsibilities, accommodation, understanding patience, tolerance, only the Hindus need to display it, and do so even when provocation and insults reach insane levels. The reluctance to put the blame for this where it belongs is one of our great social failures.
Of course the worthless tribe of irrelevance called the leftist historians got into the act and launched a series of holier than thou broadsides. “What the regime seems to want is a kind of legislated history, a manufactured image of the past, glorifying certain aspects of it and denigrating others, without any regard for chronology, sources or methods of enquiry that are the building blocks of the edifice of history,” the statement said. This is just about the most breathtakingly shameless statement ever put out in public discourse for this is precisely what they were doing all these years!!! First they lie about Aryan Invasion fantasies, then they lie that temples were not demolished and if they were it was never for religious reasons, and now they project precisely their habitual behavior onto the current regime. It comes from a staggering level of entitlement and self regard, -The statement urged the state to ensure an atmosphere that is “conducive to free and fearless expression, security for all sections of society and the safe-guarding of the values and traditions of plurality that India had always cherished in the past.”
“It is easy to trample them down, but it is important to remember that it will take too long and will be beyond the capacity of those who are currently at the helm of affairs, to rebuild it once it is destroyed,” the statement said.
So there you have it. We are better than you, we have more ‘capacity’, which is a North Indian slang term for sexual stamina en passant, and we think you should obey us, your betters. The most mentally retarded cockroach is at present a life form with more credibility than the Indian leftist historian so we can leave it at that. This culture has lasted 6000 years without leftist historians to guide us, perhaps because this social disease did not exist for most of those 6000 years!
The unspoken social assumption all these years was that the Hindu would remain in Namaste Mudra practicing permanent Mauna Vrata and the Mullah Marxist Missionary Macaulayite madar….well, well let that last M be … would have perpetual control and direction of social discourse. Now the Hindu is insisting on being heard and also on the primacy of their voice. This is unacceptable to the entrenched establishment forces, which is too bad for them. They are redundant, refuse, not even recyclable.
Double standards, double standards everywhere. When Hindus seek to perform Bali, that is regressive and cruel. When Muslims want to do Kurbani that is acceptable religious practice. When Hindus are bribed into converting by evangelical and oil money that is a constitutional practice of propagating religion. When Hindus do Ghar Wapsi that is cultural hegemony and fascism. Karva Chauth is patriarchy, Halloween is the height of cool. About this award returning ongoing farce Vidya Balan had the only sensible thing to say – National awards are from the nation, not parties or governments, so one should not return them. Nobody wants to be the bad guy and criticize Vidya who is a universal favorite so this statement has been met with embarrassed silence. In Bengal, 30 Muslim families in a village oppose a Durga puja and 300 Hindu families have to go elsewhere to worship Durga. In Bengal!!! That I have lived to see this day is saddening beyond words. Now it will go to the High Court and there has been some muted debate on TV, but that such a thing could even happen is batshit insane.
Personally my breaking point was reached when the Congress brought out the draft of the Communal Violence Bill and sought to make it an article of law that no matter the facts the Hindu alone would be punished if fights broke out! The BJP and Jayalaitha, God bless her Brahminical heart, opposed this. Today Tamil Nadu has shut down a folk singer for criticizing her government, and again there is muted response. This does not fit into any category that can attack Hindus so it is being ignored. I also lost all respect for non-Hindu Indians when I saw that not a single one, bar Fali Nariman, who is Parsi, protested against the evil and astonishing bias of the Communal Violence Bill. Not one, Not One Single One. Not then, not now even. For this is what they want, a permanently demonized and legally discriminated against Hindu society.
After this particular development I started speaking up on these matters calling out the double standards, and immediately on Facebook the Abrahamics started un-friending me. Which is Nataraja Kripa. But I learned about how a Hindu in India is supposed to comport himself if he wants non-Hindu Indians in his life. It was most educative. Currently, approval of non-Hindus means two things to me – diddly and squat.
Reveal yourself as my enemy, trust me I will not forget. The Hindu secularist is rather like a male feminist, neither fish nor fowl, infused with self loathing and essentially a traitor to all that is good and true, but that is neither here not there. This failure of non-Hindus to speak up on this issue has left me with a deep wound that will never fill up. I wont forget and I wont forgive, not even if the sun goes nova. Like the rest I will care only about my people from now on.
This business of supposed rationalists being murdered, the police are investigating aren’t they? Where is this ocean of innuendo and insinuation coming from that hardcore Hindu groups are whacking people they don’t approve of? Where is the evidence? Well? Previous governments began the dangerous social solution of extra judicial murders whenever things got out of control. That was how the Naxals were wiped out of Bengal, the Khalistanis from Punjab and the Mafia from Mumbai. Indians went along with this violation of liberties, and I am reasonably certain they will do so in future also if such situations arise. We do not value due process and personal liberties at all. Which is not the issue here. Whenever a Muslim is caught doing something violent we are always told, terror had no religion, this does not reflect upon the community and it is the act of misguided people who are probably also insane. So even if some link to some Hindu groups are ever established all these specious arguments can and will be trotted out. Wont that be fun?
I would support any dispensation that would enforce one law and one set of standards equally for all Indians. But we have fragmented our society into special interest groups, who seek unfair advantages and immunity from the consequences of their actions. For nearly 70 years Hindus have stood by and watched hoping for sense to dawn. Now they are using the same playbook as all the others. Pandering has consequences. You sow the wind, you reap the whirlwind.
